Project title: Mallard Lake House Renovation
The clients wanted to bring their modern taste to a 30 year old house with vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan overlooking a community lake. The plan was driven by the new kitchen design and a renovation of the stairs. Adventurous yet practical, the clients ebonized the existing oak floors, wrapped existing structural columns in metal, disguised a brick fireplace, and removed an entire wall to open the living room to the existing screened porch with a large folding exterior door.
