Project title: Dogtrot Landscape
These outdoor rooms are structured around a U-shaped house addition and several existing landscape elements: a spreading ash tree, a tall privet hedge, and a trash pit used by the previous residents of the old farm. The debris decomposed into rich black soil for new planting beds, the ash tree shades an outdoor eating area, and the privet hedge forms a gateway to the complex of porches, terrace, and courtyard that extend the living space outdoors.
