Project title: Still Meadow Kitchen
The clients, serious cooks with a small child, upgraded the standard kitchen normally installed in a developer-built home to a custom kitchen. Making small changes in the house's floor plan and window and door locations greatly improved the connections between kitchen, family office space, breakfast area, and family room. Rethinking the kitchen layout shown on the stock plans improved work areas and ensured ample room for entertaining large groups. A thorough inventory of the couple's kitchen equipment, from whisks to rice cooker, ensured adequate storage for utensils and countertop appliances in locations proximal to work areas.
