Project title: Split Rock Farm Kitchen
Built in the owner's woodshop from reclaimed heart pine, this kitchen was designed to withstand the enthusiastic cooking projects of the resident children and to be a gathering place for a large extended family. Multiple work spaces allow family members to cook together, and the center island seats a dozen or more. When the cooking is done, everyone can move to a vast adjacent dining table for the meal.
